Together, Lovena and Terry formed Caribbean Celebrities.Com to address the void that exists with UK Television companies not providing enough programmes for people of Caribbean origin. They both felt that there were no programmes that reflected the caribbean, especially Jamaica in a positive light. Most of the programmes shown are negative. They felt that they would like to produce and introduce more programmes that cover history, lifestyle, current affairs, education and authentic entertainment to UK Television in order to address misconceptions, in order to educate, to uplift and generally to remind people of their history. They are currently developing a host of new programmes which will be premiered very soon on BENTV (Sky 148) in the UK. So keep looking.
